One can argue about taste in the furnishings, but definitely not when it comes to taste. The food was outstanding, Grandma's Roulade is more than just a recommendation! The price-performance ratio is unparalleled in the place. Very friendly service, all around harmonious restaurant.

The food was really delicious, the beef roulade like mother's. You have to like the ambience, overall very nice, but far too much time passed between ordering and serving the food. It could be faster with this small number of tables.

Not recommended. The microwave was always ringing and that's how the frozen vegetables tasted. I do not think that the yellow carrots grow in the region ...... Furniture is also something for lovers. Others may rate differently!

Nice friendly local restaurant serving local food at a great price. Large portions of good quality food. The menu had lots of options but nothing in English so google translate helped us along. Would highly recommend as felt very welcome (unlike in the other restaurants in the town).

We spontaneously looked for a lunch option and found the lunch menu and the associated prices very appealing. The servings are large and delicious. Fortunately, I had done without an appetizer. Even the children's portion is so big that our little one could eat with robber plates (yes, there is one here too) - the landlord gave us this tip. The service is very friendly. All in all a very good home-style cuisine and highly recommended. We would love to come back. P. S. Don't be fooled by the first impression - I was a little skeptical at first.

Restaurant Central in Oberwiesenthal, service by the boss herself and the food all very delicious and homemade. The decor of the DDR charm is still to be seen but it is about the food which is very good. We like to come back.
